SYNCROVERTER DC-DC converters are ultra-high efficiency, isolated, fixed frequency, modules packaged in the industry standard "half brick" footprint. Their state-of-the-art design uses synchronous rectification, an integrated planar transformer, and a low loss multi-layer PCB to provide up to 45A of 2.5Vdc power.

Their very high efficiency and open frame construction allows them to be operated in a typical application without a heat sink. A heat sink can be attached, however, for environments that are more demanding or for improved reliability.
